This blog entry is about a tool in Dr. Wang's PPT about previous T3PP results. Specifically  Kahoot in the software mentioned by Elementary School teachers list. We have been talking about the SAMR model in class. I believe that Kahoot is an augmentation because the teacher is using it to replace quizzes but has the ability to use images, videos, and adds competition to keep the students engaged.  Start by creating a Kahoot account. It will ask if you are a teacher or a student (select teacher) and then ask if you want to pay to upgrade. I personally think the website works perfectly fine with the free version. This blog entry is about a tool in Dr. Wang's PPT about previous T3PP results. Specifically Flipgrid  in the Microsoft Technologies list.  Flipgrid is a tool that allows teachers and students to create and share short video responses to prompts or questions. It is a virtual video discussion board where everyone in the class can participate and share their thoughts and ideas! Create group and share link with students Students can record and respond to each other. I found this website to be very easy to use. You simply hit record and post a video response to a topic or question. The only problem could be students running into issues with getting their technology to record. I think this tool has a lot of versatility. This blog entry is about a tool in Dr. Wang's PPT about previous T3PP results. Specifically  Google Forms in the Google Technologies list. Google forms can be used as a form of assessment, used to get feedback, or to find stats. All you need to use google forms is a google account. There are many different templates that can be used on google forms. Some examples are exit tickets, assessments, worksheets, and course evaluations.  You are able to customize the responses. (ex. short/long answers, multiple choice, check boxes, dropdown)  As a teacher you can look at the students responses. There is also the option to create a quiz with points and correct answers so the website tells you what score the student receives.  I found this website to be very easy to use. This blog entry is about a tool of my own interest from the list of L1 Instructing Technologies provided by Dr. Wang. I chose the website Wordart.com . In class we discussed the L of TLC which is learning. This tool can be used for information processing by activating prior knowledge.  This website is used to create word clouds. Word clouds give a visual representation of a topic while highlighting the important and most frequent words. This website is a great tool for teachers to create posters for their classrooms for students to activate their prior knowledge of the topic when they look at it.   The fir st ste p is to cre ate a free account so that you can save the work you create.  This blog entry is about a tool of my own interest from the list of T3 Instructing Technologies provided by Dr. Wang. I chose the website  mindmaps.app. In class we discussed the T of TLC which is teaching. We also learned about the 7-Events framework for T3-Instructing. This tool can be used for #5 of the 7-Events framework which is eliciting the desired behavior.   This website is used to create mind maps very easily. What is shown in the screenshot below is all the website has to offer. You simply type in the desired topic in the center bubble and then click and hold the red dot to drag the next colored line. You can create as many branches as you want.  Students can then hit the mind maps dropdown bar and click "export as image". Then right click on the picture and click "save image as" and save to their computer to print or turn in online.  For overall ease of use this website lands pretty high.
